To reach the island of Ischia it is always necessary to take a ferry or hydroplane from the port of Naples or Pozzuoli.
At the port of Naples there are two places of embarkation: the Beverello Pier, from which hydroplanes depart, and the Calata di Massa Pier, from which only ferries depart. The two places of embarkation are just a few hundred meters apart.
Only ferries depart from the port of Pozzuoli.
Once you have disembarked on Ischia you can reach our hotel by bus or by taxi.

Here is how to reach the ports of Naples depending on the means of transport you have chosen for your vacation

By plane:
If you travel by plane, from Naples Capodichino airport you can reach the port of Naples both by taxi and by bus. In particular, a shuttle bus connects the airport directly to the port of Naples and the ticket can be purchased on board

By train:
If you travel by train, from the Central Station you can reach the port of Naples by bus, taxi, tram or underground; the ticket can be purchased at the station.

Transfer service

By car: 
If you decide to come to Ischia by car, you can embark both from the port of Naples and from the port of Pozzuoli.
To get to the port of Naples, after the highway tollbooth, follow the directions for Naples port area and then to Calata di Massa Pier, from which ferries to Ischia depart.
If you prefer to embark from the port of Pozzuoli, after getting to Naples highway tollbooth, continue for about 12 km and take the ring road towards Pozzuoli. Drive along the entire ring road and take the first exit after the “Via Campana” tollbooth. Follow the directions for the port.

Here is how to get to to Hotel Citara after disembarking on Ischia
Once you have disembarked on the island, follow the directions for Forio and continue along the coast road towards Citara, our hotel is on the left, 150 meters before the small square of Citara. Those who want to reach us by bus can take bus no. 2, which passes by all the ports of the island. The bus stop is right in front of our hotel and is the second last before the terminus.
